Overview:

As an Account Manager (Cloud AM), you will be responsible for managing a designated portfolio of key accounts, building strong relationships, and driving revenue generation. This position offers an opportunity for professional development and advancement within our organization.



Responsibilities:

  • Account Strategy Support: Assist in developing and executing account strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets under the guidance of Account Management leadership.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with Sales Support, Marketing, and Customer Service teams to ensure seamless coordination and an exceptional customer experience.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential prospects within designated accounts and target industries for business development.
  • Sales Engagement: Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and engage in contract negotiations.
  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and opportunity pipelines in the CRM system.
  • Product Knowledge: Continuously develop product knowledge and stay updated on market trends to effectively identify client needs and propose tailored solutions.
  • Sales Reporting: Assist in preparing regular sales reports, performance analyses, and forecasts for the Sales Manager.
  • Target Achievement: Collaborate with Senior Account Managers to ensure the achievement of individual and team sales targets.



Required Skills & Qualifications (must-haves):

  • 2+ years of experience in account management, sales, or a related client-facing role, with exposure to B2B technology or cloud solutions.
  • Prior experience within the Microsoft ecosystem, specifically in a VAR or CSP environment, is highly preferred.
  • Proven ability to contribute to the development and execution of account strategies under senior guidance.
  • Strong ability to work cross-functionally with Sales Support, Marketing, and Customer Service to deliver seamless client experiences.
  • Proficiency in conducting market research and analyzing account data to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to support sales meetings, prepare proposals, and engage in client discussions.
  • Experience in maintaining accurate CRM records, tracking pipelines, and supporting forecasting activities.
  • Ability and willingness to quickly build product knowledge, stay current on industry trends, and adapt to evolving client needs.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills to assist in preparing sales reports, performance analyses, and forecasts.



Preferred Skills & Qualifications (nice-to-haves):

  • MS-900 or AZ-900 certifications are highly preferred.
  • Experience in identifying potential prospects within target accounts and industries.
  • Demonstrated ability to support contract negotiations, prepare polished proposals, and contribute to effective sales presentations.
  • Familiarity with achieving or supporting the achievement of sales targets in a team-based environment.
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies, SaaS sales models, or IT channel/partnership ecosystems.



Working Environment & Compensation Details:

  • Type: Onsite, Monday - Friday
  • Location: UCI Research Park (Irvine, CA)
  • Hours: 6:00 am to 3:00 pm PT OR 7:00 am to 4:00 pm PT
  • Base Salary: $70K - $90K (*DOE) + commissions
