Enterprise Account Executive
Viven, Santa Clara, CA, United States
Company Overview:
At Viven, we're building AI-powered Digital Twins for businesses. A Digital Twin is an AI version of an employee — trained on their decisions, knowledge, and communications — that colleagues can query anytime. Think of it as being able to ask a coworker for help even when they're busy, on vacation, or have left the company.
Most AI assistants are built for individuals; Viven's are designed to be shared. Organizations can create Twins for key leaders, subject matter experts, critical workflows, or entire business units — preserving institutional knowledge and making it accessible in real time. Enterprise-grade privacy and fine-grained access controls ensure Twins only reveal information users are entitled to see. The result: teams move faster, critical expertise doesn't walk out the door, and an organization's most in-demand people can scale their impact without being in every meeting.
Role Overview:
This is a zero-to-one Enterprise Account Executive role at Viven.
We’re early in building our go-to-market motion, which means there is no fully built sales engine, no mature playbook, and limited inbound. You won’t be stepping into a defined territory with pipeline waiting — you’ll be helping create it. From how we generate demand to how we position the product and win deals, this role sits at the center of shaping how Viven goes to market.
As an Enterprise Account Executive, you’ll own the full sales cycle while also influencing what that cycle should look like. That includes building pipeline from scratch, running discovery on problems customers don’t always fully understand yet, and helping define how we position a completely new category — AI-powered Digital Twins.
You’ll work directly with founders and leadership on early deals, partnering on strategy, pricing, and positioning in real time. The goal isn’t just to close business — it’s to turn early traction into something repeatable and scalable.
This role is best suited for someone who wants to build, not inherit — and who is comfortable operating without clear structure while helping create it.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build pipeline from scratch through outbound, referrals, events, and creative sourcing strategies — there is no SDR layer
- Own the full sales cycle from first touch through close across complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals
- Lead discovery conversations that surface not just pain points, but the underlying problems customers may not yet fully understand
- Develop and deliver tailored demos and narratives that educate buyers on a new category (AI-powered Digital Twins)
- Turn ambiguous interest into structured opportunities — helping customers define use cases, ROI, and internal alignment
- Partner closely with founders on deal strategy, pricing, and positioning for early-stage and first-of-kind deals
- Define and iterate on ICP, messaging, and sales approach based on real customer feedback
- Identify patterns across early wins/losses and help translate them into a scalable GTM motion
- Navigate procurement, legal, and security reviews typical of enterprise sales cycles
- Serve as the voice of the customer internally — influencing product, roadmap, and positioning
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of closing experience in a quota-carrying role (enterprise or mid-market)
- Proven ability to build pipeline and close deals without SDR support or inbound
- Experience operating in early-stage environments (seed to Series B strongly preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to define or influence ICP, messaging, or sales motion — not just execute it
- Comfort selling technical products and engaging both business and technical stakeholders
- Experience building pipeline in the absence of clear market demand
- Track record of closing deals where the buying process was not well-defined
- Ability to operate without clear structure, documentation, or enablement
How You’ll Succeed:
- High ownership mindset — you proactively identify problems and solve them without waiting for direction
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity with limited structure, resources, and support
- Resilient — able to handle long sales cycles, ambiguity, and frequent iteration without losing momentum
- Bias toward action — you’d rather test and learn than wait for perfect information
