Here's what it takes to succeed with us.
- 2+ years of experience in customs brokerage, freight forwarding, or import operations
- Experience processing entries using ABI/ACE systems
- Strong knowledge of HTS classification and U.S. import regulations
- Experience coordinating with government agencies (FDA, USDA, etc.) preferred
- Familiarity with brokerage platforms such as CargoWise, Descartes, or similar systems
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume entries
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Licensed Customs Broker (not required but highly valued)
- Experience handling high-volume import entries
- Knowledge of anti-dumping / countervailing duties and special regulatory filings
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
- Prepare and transmit customs entries through ABI/ACE systems
- Review commercial invoices, packing lists, and shipping documents for accuracy and compliance
- Classify imported goods using the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS)
- File and manage ISF (10+2) filings and entry summaries
- Coordinate with CBP and Participating Government Agencies (FDA, USDA, Fish & Wildlife, CPSC, etc.)
- Monitor shipment status and resolve customs holds, exams, or documentation issues
- Communicate with importers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure timely clearance
- Maintain compliance documentation and support post-entry corrections when required
- Ensure all entries meet regulatory and company compliance standards
