Gym Teacher
My Gym is seeking a passionate and dedicated Gym Teacher to lead our children's fitness programs. This role starts with being a lead teacher, and learning the program and the MY GYM philosophies. Once accomplished, you will be a strong lead teacher, promote sales, help manage staff, and create an engaging environment for children and their families. Your leadership will ensure high-quality fitness instruction while fostering a positive and supportive community. The Gym Lead Teachers and Directors oversee the daily operations of the My Gym location, ensuring exceptional service for children and their families. This leadership role requires a blend of business management, sales, team leadership, and customer service skills. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with a passion for childhood development and a strong desire to cultivate a vibrant community of families. Responsibilities include: Work Schedule: Committed to 40 hours per week, including weekends as needed Operational Oversight: Manage the center's daily operations, including teaching, children and parents, class schedules, staff training, and facility maintenance. Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with families to ensure their satisfaction and engagement. Maintain strong staff relations to build the Gym enrollment. Strategic Development: Create and implement strategies to boost enrollment and retain currently enrolled families. Safety and Cleanliness: Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for children, families, and staff Qualifications include: Childcare Experience: Proven experience working with young children in an organized play environment Leadership Skills: Demonstrated leadership or management experience, with the ability to motivate and guide a team. Lead by example. Team-Oriented: Strong willingness to collaborate as a team player and contribute to a positive work environment Effective Communication: Excellent communication skills to engage clearly with staff and clients Physical Requirements: Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly Endurance: Capacity to stand and move for extended periods (up to 6 hours) while fulfilling job responsibilities My Gym Children's Fitness Center is an international corporation with 600 locations dedicated to providing exceptional recreational fitness and gymnastics programs for children ages 6 weeks to 10 years.
