Our Orvis-Endorsed Fly-Fishing Program allows guests from beginner to expert to cast in some of Central Vermont's most picturesque rivers and streams. Learn to fly-cast on the lawn with one of our Orvis Endorsed Guides, or head out to one of the local streams or rivers. Wade or float the day away while casting from one of our river rafts. Job Summary: Fly Fishing Guides is an ideal role for someone who is passionate about fly fishing, enjoys working with guests in a luxury hospitality environment, and is eager to contribute to multiple outdoor recreation programs. Job Specifications: Expected Pay Range: Starting $28.00 per hour. The pay scale shown is the range that we reasonably expect to pay. Actual compensation offered may be adjusted based on a candidate's qualifications and/or experience. Shift & Schedule Availability: Part-time seasonal, weekly hours vary Job Responsibilities: Lead guided fly fishing trips for Inn guests on local rivers and waters. Provide an educational and fun experience for guests. Instruct anglers of all experience levels. Share knowledge of local fisheries and techniques. Ensure safe, high-quality guest experiences. Maintain and organize fishing equipment and gear. Job Requirements: Minimum of 18 years of age. Must possess a valid drivers' license & clean driving record. Must be able to lift & move 75lbs. Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team. Must possess excellent interpersonal skills. Must be available to work with a flexible schedule. Able to work outside weather.
