You will be responsible for partnering with agency leadership and internal teams to lead new business efforts. Your role will encompass an integrated view of growth across OM and our global agency brands (OMD, PHD, and Hearts & Science) including inbound opportunities and outbound prospecting.We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a new business background who has a proven track record of engaging and converting new clients to grow agency revenue. This role will have high visibility within OM and corresponding high expectation to drive impact.Responsibilities: Lead development of pitch strategies to obtain new clientsMust have Health/Pharma experienceCraft compelling RFI / RFPs that are bespoke and present OM’s breadth of capabilitiesPartner with all required stakeholders (Finance, Investment, etc.) as required, ensuring a lock-step relationship to drive a flawless end productElevate strategic thinking at all levels, inspiring and creating new ideas that permeate across our teamsLead multiple pitches and projects concurrently, while prioritizing the most importantManage a small working team of junior new business team members, connecting regularly with counterparts within the Growth groupResponsible for the growth and development of junior team membersCreate a culture of learning by imparting best practices to the Growth teamManage opportunity pipeline and reports on pitch activity weekly within the global CRM platformCultivate business relationships through networking and industry eventsAccountable for win/loss ratio and healthy business development financialsSupport the prospecting process of potential clientsPartner with internal Brand Experience team to produce pitch related comms & materialsRequirements:Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, business, or related fieldMinimum 12+ years’ experience in the marketing / advertising industryAbility to work in a fast-paced environment, with outstanding project management and organization skillsSolution-oriented with an impeccable eye for detail, comfortable with ambiguity and can grasp new concepts easilyStrategic thinker, successful track record of building business for an agency, ideally for large media agencies / groupsExperience overseeing business development initiatives from initial opportunity all the way through securing client contractsProven results in converting new clients through formal new business pitch processExcellent written and oral communication skills at all levels (commands a room, is a highly effective leader, motivator)Experience liaising with external consultants to manage and facilitate the pitch process and required deliverablesAbility to adapt growth strategy to the group’s evolving service offeringsProven experience in building and leading a cross-functional teams in the pitch processExtensive experience managing senior stakeholders with a professional demeanor, collaborative and able to work under tight deadlinesGenuine passion for mentoring people with an ability to coach junior Growth team members including supporting the annual performance review processHas an eye for design and layout to build compelling narratives and storytelling for pitchesKnowledge of CRM platforms and industry new business tools (COMvergence, RECMA, etc.)#LI-KR1This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. The remaining two (2) days may be worked remotely. Specific in-office days will be discussed during the interview process, with flexibility to align with team needs.
