Executive Director, Head of Product, Alternative Lending

Overview

Join Chase’s Connected Commerce Lending Innovation team and shape the future of consumer lending. Drive product launches, optimize in-market solutions, and lead end-to-end business performance in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. As an Executive Director leading product for the Alternative Lending team, you will help set the vision and strategy for products that will help meet the borrowing needs for millions of Chase customers. You will lead a high-impact team focused on delivering new products to market that create new customer experiences and scale them up while ensuring operational excellence. In this role, you will collaborate across business areas, influence outcomes, and see ideas come to life from concept to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Own multi-year strategy, roadmap and execution for installment lending, including Chase Pay in 4 and future alternative lending products in partnership with cross-functional teams.
  • Manage prioritization, high level requirements, and quarterly and yearly planning with cross-domain stakeholders and peers.
  • Own the core lending platform roadmap across customer journeys and optimize for multiple use cases as well as platform stability and resiliency.
  • Collaborate across technology, operations, design, analytics, and other functional partners to deliver innovative and scalable lending solutions.
  • Foster a team culture of ownership, data-driven decision making, humility, and business/customer impact.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  • 10+ years of product management or product development experience, with significant experience in either lending, payments or retail financial services.
  • Demonstrated leadership of high-performing product teams and complex cross-functional programs, with proven ability to influence and align senior stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in banking and experience operating within robust risk and control frameworks.
  • Proven track record managing the end-to-end product development lifecycle for complex, large-scale initiatives across customer segments.
  • Experience defining and managing OKRs/KPIs, building business cases, and delivering measurable business and platform health results.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making; ability to translate insights into clear prioritization and execution plans.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership and leading change management at scale.
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies and tools, and partnering closely with technology, design, and analytics to deliver business outcomes and customer impact.
  • A passion for pushing boundaries and questioning the status quo.
