
Director of Sector Engagements – EVM COE

Overview
Leidos is seeking a Director of Sector Engagements to join the Corporate Earned Value Management (EVM) and Controls Center of Excellence (COE), reporting to the Senior Director.
About the Role This role leads how the EVM COE engages with Leidos’ five Sectors, bringing consistency, quality, and impact across programs. You’ll oversee COE team members supporting sector programs, drive adoption of COE solutions, and ensure strong alignment across program management, finance, scheduling, and contracts.
You’ll work across the full program lifecycle — from proposal and award through execution — helping teams plan, execute, and deliver in compliance with EVMS standards and company policies.
Responsibilities
- Standardize and improve how the EVM COE supports Sector programs
- Lead COE team leaders and their teams, ensuring high-quality support, data, and deliverables
- Align the right resources to the right programs at the right time
- Partner with program and line leadership to drive adoption of COE solutions and improve execution
- Support program performance, operational decisions, and business strategy
- Champion EVMS, scheduling, PMX and other COE related policies, best practices, and training across the organization
- Collaborate across functions to improve efficiency and deliver greater value to the business
- Build relationships with internal leaders and government customers to support growth and execution
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of relevant experience, including 7+ years leading teams or major programs
- Strong leadership experience managing and integrating teams of dozens of people in a matrixed environment
- Deep expertise in program management, EVMS, integrated scheduling, and in scaling solutions to the requirements, risks and needs of the program
- Experience supporting or achieving EVMS validations with government agencies
- Broad functional knowledge (program management, finance, EVMS, contracts, scheduling, etc.)
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive adoption of new approaches
- Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional efforts and solve high-impact problems
- US citizenship is required with the ability to obtain security clearance as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with tools such as Microsoft Project, Deltek Cobra, OPDEC IPM, or similar EVMS/scheduling tools

Pay Range: $154,050.00 - $278,475.00
