About the Role – Cook 1 Cook 1

is an entry level culinary position that requires basic culinary skills or related cooking experience, along with strong communication abilities. This is typically a production role that involves close supervision and ongoing training. Full and flexible availability is required as this position will involve both morning and evening shifts.

Wage Information The hourly wage for this position is

$24.50 . This is the pay rate Hyatt Regency La Jolla reasonably expects to pay.

Qualifications

A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment

Candidate should be able to perform all basic cooking skills

Previous line or hotel experience preferred

Ability to stand for long periods of time

Capable of performing repetitious duties
