This is a full-time, remote role for a Mortgage Loan Processor at CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC. The Mortgage Loan Processor will handle essential tasks such as coordinating and managing mortgage loan applications, verifying financial documents, reviewing underwriting guidelines, ensuring compliance with lending regulations, and maintaining communication with borrowers, loan officers, and underwriters. The individual will ensure the timely and accurate processing of loan applications, providing excellent service to all stakeholders throughout the loan process. Qualifications
Mandatory- Currently employed in the Mortgage Industry or has been for the last 3 years, including Mortgage Lending and Loan Processing practices. Skills in Underwriting and understanding of Loans, with the ability to assess borrower qualifications and support loan approvals. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple loan applications and ensure accuracy. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with clients, loan officers, and other stakeholders. Proficiency with mortgage loan software and familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements. Previous experience in a loan processing, underwriting, or related role in the mortgage industry is highly desired. Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field is a plus.
