As an
Entry-Level Event Assistant , you will help plan, coordinate, and execute
community and retail events
that drive donations for nonprofit organizations. This hands-on role provides the opportunity to
interact directly with the public , assist with
event logistics , and contribute to
successful fundraising initiatives . This fast-paced position is ideal for individuals who are enthusiastic, outgoing, and committed to making a positive impact. Key Responsibilities
Assist with
planning, organizing, and coordinating community and retail events Manage
event logistics
to ensure seamless execution Serve as a
point of contact for attendees , answering questions and providing information Promote the
nonprofit’s mission , encouraging participation and donations Distribute
promotional materials
to raise awareness and engagement Track
event data , including donations and sales, ensuring accuracy Collect
attendee feedback
to improve future events Collaborate with team members to ensure
successful event delivery Participate in
training sessions
to stay informed on nonprofit missions and objectives Support a
positive, energetic atmosphere
at all events Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred) Strong
communication and interpersonal skills Outgoing, friendly, and passionate about
supporting charitable causes Ability to work
independently and collaboratively Strong
organizational and time management skills Previous experience in
event coordination, customer service, or sales
is a plus, but not required Valid driver’s license and
reliable transportation
