Overview
We’re looking for Automotive Mechanics with a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive repair experience to join us at Carvana. As an Experienced Auto Technician, you’ll perform extensive repairs and heavy engine work, advanced vehicle diagnostics, and related tasks in our high-tech Inspection Centers. Responsibilities
Repair advanced vehicle electrical issues Install, repair, and replace vehicle refrigerant and recovery systems Perform vehicle diagnostics and repairs on all makes and models, including electric and hybrid vehicles Engage in heavy engine work and extensive repairs as part of reconditioning our vehicles Compensation and Benefits

We offer training programs for entry-level positions to help skills and pay progress with the company. We have a variety of Technician roles in our Inspection Centers, depending on experience. Entry-Level Auto Technician (min 6 months professional experience): perform light maintenance, fluid checks, and initial inspections Brake and Tire Technician (min 1 year): perform light maintenance or repairs including brakes and tires Mid-Level Technician (min 3 years): perform light to medium automotive repairs and minimal diagnostics Experienced Technician (min 5 years): perform extensive repairs and heavy engine work, advanced diagnostics on all makes and models including electric and hybrid vehicles We also have other automotive roles available across 18 locations. Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools; must be able to lift up to 60 pounds Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver’s license; MVR check may apply Ability to work in a fast-paced, production environment with exposure to weather conditions Use of safety equipment such as face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, mask, and other protective garments About Carvana
