At

Leatherman , we don’t just build tools — we build products people rely on in the moments that matter.

We’re in an exciting phase of

rebuilding and strengthening our Product Management & Marketing engine , and we’re looking for a

Product Marketing Manager

who wants to help shape how we bring products to market.

If you’re a

strategic thinker, strong storyteller, and highly collaborative partner

who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment — this could be your next move.

What You’ll Own As our Product Marketing Manager, you’ll sit at the center of

Product, Brand, Marketing, and Sales

— turning strategy into compelling stories that drive results.

You will:

Own

go-to-market (GTM) strategy and product positioning

for key product lines

Bring products to life through

clear, compelling storytelling

that resonates with consumers

Lead development of

marketing briefs, product naming, and launch narratives

Partner cross-functionally to ensure

alignment from concept to commercialization

Contribute to

consumer insights, competitive analysis, and portfolio strategy

Help build and evolve

how we take products to market

What Makes This Role Different This is not a “stay in your lane” marketing role.

You will:

Work deeply cross-functionally — no silos here

Have

ownership and accountability for results

Help

rebuild and shape our GTM playbook

Influence how our products show up in the market

Be part of a team that values

curiosity, collaboration, and continuous improvement

What You Bring

5+ years of experience in product marketing, brand marketing, or similar roles

Proven experience owning

GTM strategy, positioning, and product launches

Strong ability to

translate products into compelling consumer stories

Experience in

consumer products

(preferred: outdoor, athletic, or hardgoods brands)

A highly

collaborative mindset

— you work

with

teams, not around them

Strong communication, organization, and execution skills

A

growth mindset , curiosity, and a willingness to challenge and improve how things are done

Position is onsite with an occasional remote day depending on business need.

Travel is required 5-10% of the time, including international.

Not the Right Fit If You:

Prefer to work independently in a silo

Come exclusively from

tech/SaaS environments

Are not comfortable with cross-functional partnership and accountability

Bonus If You Have

Experience in

outdoor, lifestyle, or performance brands

Background in

hardgoods or textile products

A strong point of view — balanced with openness and adaptability

Why Leatherman? You’ll join a company known for

craftsmanship, innovation, and purpose-driven products

— and a team that’s actively evolving how we bring those products to life in the market.
