FTI is hiring a Sales/ Business Development Director for its Technology Segment, which focuses on electronic discovery information governance and data privacy consulting, contract analysis and document review. The Sales/ Business Development Director will identify, pursue, and close sales for all FTI’s product offerings and technology services, including consulting services, on-demand hosted software and services, and packaged technology service offerings. The role emphasizes consultative sales of information governance, eDiscovery solutions and/or cyber security consulting with an emphasis on sales or consulting directly to corporate legal departments. The Sales/ Business Development Director will receive a sales target for a defined region or territory and will be expected to meet or exceed quarterly and yearly revenue projections. As the owner of the business plan for their region, the role involves growing the business in the region and promoting expanding responsibility based on growth. What You’ll Do

Communicate the significant value proposition of the company’s entire portfolio and establish credibility with clients in the eDiscovery space Qualify, generate, and execute on opportunities that provide profitable revenue to FTI Build and manage an effective pipeline and drive each phase of the sales process Incorporate knowledge of products, services, customers, and competitors to uncover customer needs and create value-based solutions Collaborate as a team member and lead the orchestration of internal and external resources to manage the sales process Use two-sided discovery to identify key value drivers and articulate the value of our solutions, differentiating FTI in the marketplace Accurately forecast the business on a consistent basis Leverage the value of our solutions in negotiations to drive maximum margin Establish customer relationships that position FTI as a trusted advisor How You’ll Grow

Basic Qualifications

5+ years of success selling software and/or consultancy services 3+ years success selling software and/or services in the Information governance, eDiscovery and cyber security markets to law firms and/or corporations Comfortable and fluent with eDiscovery technology and document review terminology Travel to FTI offices is required Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; this position does not provide visa sponsorship Preferred Qualifications

Law degree is not mandatory but considered a plus along with experience at major law firm or corporate legal department Polished executive presence with ability to interact with senior corporate lawyers and business leaders as a “consultative partner,” not a “vendor” Benefits and About FTI
