Lead and manage the social media team to drive audience growth, engagement, and brand impact Develop and execute cross-platform social strategies, including cadence, KPIs, and performance benchmarks Oversee production and promotion of Delish’s podcast SNACKS!, including long-form episodes and short-form social cutdowns Conceptualize and launch social-first franchises featuring editors, talent, celebrities, and creators to drive conversation and retention Analyze performance data and translate insights into actionable editorial and content strategies Collaborate with editorial, video, and brand teams to create high-impact, social-first content initiatives Manage freelancers, contributors, and external partnerships across social-led projects Identify emerging platforms, trends, and opportunities to expand Delish’s reach and relevance Qualifications (What We’re Looking For)
5+ years of experience in social media, editorial, or digital content within a media or publishing environment Proven success developing and scaling social-first video franchises and formats Strong understanding of social analytics and ability to translate data into content strategy (experience with tools like Dash Hudson, Parse.ly, Looker, or similar is a plus) Deep knowledge of social platforms, trends, and audience behavior, especially within food and pop culture Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously Highly organized, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment A curiosity-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation This role is based in New York City with a hybrid in-office schedule Benefits (What We Offer)

The base salary for this role is between $84,660 and $95,000. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. Hearst Magazines is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
