What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Collaborate with product, legal, and policy teams to establish internal policy views on emerging regulatory issues
Draft high-quality written materials for regulatory consultations and external engagements
Present to executive-level audiences on the implications of new or proposed regulations
Work with trade groups to build consensus on regulatory approaches
Organize and lead external engagements with regulators and standard-setting organizations
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree or non-US equivalent (required) + advanced degree in finance, economics, or law (preferred)
Minimum of 6 years of experience in financial services regulatory roles, particularly with CFTC, SEC, and/or prudential regulation
Understanding of blockchain technology, products, and services
Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams of subject matter experts
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to produce original written work for various audiences
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Management consulting experience
Experience at a multi-client law firm
Background in responding to regulatory consultations or equivalent government experience
Familiarity with government agencies or authorities
