
REMOTE Senior Commercial Counsel

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Commercial Counsel - REMOTE. This role will act as a strategic legal partner, driving high-impact transactions and supporting sales in structuring and negotiating complex commercial agreements. With responsibilities extending to vendor agreements and privacy initiatives, you'll play a crucial part in a fast-growing legal team. Your expertise will guide the business through complex negotiations while fostering trusted partnerships with stakeholders. The ideal candidate will embrace a business-oriented mindset and make significant contributions to the organization’s legal operations.
Accountabilities
Lead strategy, negotiation, and execution of complex B2B agreements, including SaaS and on-premises licenses.
Serve as a strategic partner to sales leadership for deal structuring and negotiation strategy.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve commercial and operational issues.
Develop and improve form agreements to enhance consistency and scalability.
Contribute to workflows that enable effective scaling of legal processes.
Support global expansion efforts, including privacy and security initiatives.
Requirements
JD or equivalent U.S. law degree and active bar membership in good standing.
8+ years of technology-related commercial legal experience, preferably in SaaS.
Demonstrated ability to lead complex negotiations independently.
Strong commercial acumen balancing legal risk and business objectives.
Proven ability to partner with senior stakeholders.
Experience with data protection laws such as GDPR and CCPA.
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to operate independently and manage high-impact workloads.
