The Role As the Lead Count Room Representative, you provide manual and mechanical assistance to verify the contents of the drop boxes. You will also provide guidance and support to junior staff.
Responsibilities
Foster an environment that embodies Bally’s Born to Entertain philosophy by creating a fun-filled, entertaining atmosphere
Enthusiastically promote Bally’s customer-centric culture of offering superior guest service and actively building long-lasting guest relations
Adhere to all policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements, Company initiatives, and organizational goals
Perform the redemption kiosk, EGD, and table games drop and count processes
Count, sort, and organize all currency, coins, coupons, chips, and paperwork from the drop container; strap and hand-stamp money bundles; deliver to cashiers as applicable
Load currency counters, utilize the counter interface, and collect, sort, and reconcile funds
Enter count information into applicable software applications
Retrieve drop boxes from the storage area and appropriately store all boxes and carts
Load appropriate boxes into carts and push/pull carts to designated areas for transportation to the casino floor
Take daily count room responsibility when a supervisor or manager is not present
Support and guide all Count Room Representatives; assist with training new team members as needed
Perform duties and responsibilities associated with the Illinois Gaming Board Statewide Voluntary Self-Exclusion Program
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Must be 21 years of age or older
Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Illinois Gaming Board
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
Must be able to work various shifts, including weeknights, weekends, and holidays
Six months of experience in money handling preferred
Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Must have excellent customer service skills
Must be proficient in using a 10-key calculator and other office equipment
Must have above-average math skills to count money accurately and quickly
