About Sync With God Sync with God is a digital discipleship initiative designed to help people grow spiritually through structured, interactive online courses. Delivered through the Pathwright platform, our courses combine biblical teaching, guided reflection, and community engagement. We believe transformation happens in relationship—and our small group leaders are at the heart of that mission.

Role Overview We are seeking a

Remote Online Small Group Leader Trainer

to equip, mentor, and support volunteer small group leaders who facilitate Sync with God courses on the Pathwright platform. This role blends spiritual leadership, online teaching, coaching, and technical guidance. You will ensure leaders feel confident, prepared, and spiritually grounded as they guide participants through their learning journey.

Key Responsibilities Leader Training & Development

Train new and returning small group leaders in Sync with God’s discipleship model, course structure, and facilitation expectations.

Lead live virtual training sessions (Zoom or similar) and provide ongoing coaching.

Model effective online group facilitation, spiritual hospitality, and pastoral care.

Provide feedback, encouragement, and development plans for leaders.

Course & Platform Support

Teach leaders how to navigate and use the Pathwright platform effectively.

Demonstrate how to manage cohorts, track learner progress, and use built-in communication tools.

Troubleshoot basic technical issues and guide leaders toward solutions.

Community & Culture Building

Foster a culture of grace, growth, and spiritual maturity among leaders.

Encourage leaders to cultivate meaningful engagement within their groups.

Uphold Sync with God’s values, theological clarity, and relational approach.

Quality Assurance

Monitor small group sessions and leader interactions to ensure consistency and excellence.

Provide insights to the course development team for improving leader resources and training materials.

Maintain documentation, training guides, and best practices.

Qualifications Required

Strong Christian faith and alignment with Sync with God’s mission and values.

Experience leading small groups, Bible studies, or discipleship communities.

Skilled in online communication and group facilitation.

Comfortable using digital learning platforms (Pathwright experience is a plus).

Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and communication skills.

Reliable internet connection and ability to work remotely.

Preferred

Experience training or mentoring volunteers.

Background in ministry, adult education, coaching, or spiritual formation.

Familiarity with online course delivery, LMS platforms, or digital discipleship models.

Personal Attributes

Comfortable with technology and adaptable to new tools.

Passionate about helping others grow in their walk with God.

Time Commitment

Flexible, remote schedule.

Weekly or seasonal training sessions depending on course cycles.
