Overview ADP is hiring a

Sales Representative, Small Business Services

for the Ventura, Oxnard, San Fernando, Santa Clarita, Lancaster & Bakersfield locations. Bilingual, Spanish/English preferred.

What you’ll do

Grow Our Business While Growing Yours. Work independently and with teams to close sales, win business, and reach sales goals within your assigned geography.

Turn Prospects into Loyal Clients and Raving Fans. Implement a sales strategy targeted to decision-makers and business owners to build a network and capture new business.

Deepen Relationships Across the ADP Family. Sell cloud-based HR solutions and cultivate additional business within existing accounts while building relationships.

Collaborate Daily. Serve as a trusted advisor and ADP ambassador to clients, internal partners, and the broader network with integrity and professionalism.

To succeed in this role, you will work within a defined geographic territory that targets clients with 1–49 employees, identify and sign new clients for payroll, tax, human resources, benefits, and additional ADP solutions, and spend time in the field closing business. Prior sales experience is welcomed but not required due to comprehensive training and technology support.

Requirements

Positive self-starter with upbeat, persistent style and the ability to manage time well and present ideas clearly in person, on paper, and over the phone.

Agile problem solver who can adapt during fast-paced change.

Continuous learner who seeks to improve and question the status quo.

Required

A college degree is helpful but not required. Other acceptable experiences include:

One to two years of prior work experience or internships in Retail, Marketing, Business Development, Food Service, Insurance Sales, or another relevant field, OR

Military experience. We value the discipline and problem-solving abilities of veterans and provide an environment to apply them meaningfully.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior quota-carrying experience

Ability to build a network and effectively use social media for sales

Bilingual, Spanish/English

Compensation and Benefits Base salary offers vary by location, skills, and experience. Some roles include bonus, equity, or commissions. Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Matched Retirement Savings, Wellness Program, Short- and Long-Term Disability, Charitable Contribution Match, Holidays, Personal Days & Vacation, Paid Volunteer Time Off, and more. The compensation for this role is USD $51,100.00 – $137,070.00 per year. Actual compensation will comply with applicable wage requirements.
