6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (with overtime and flexible start/end times)

Compensation:

$25–$35/hr

A rapidly growing industrial equipment manufacturer with over 100 years of success is looking to add a

Field Service Technician

to their expanding team. This company is a recognized leader in engineering and building complex equipment used across a variety of industries including data centers, roofing systems, and industrial enclosures. With a booming backlog of new business—servicing major global clients—they're expanding both their footprint and their team.

As a Service Technician, you’ll play a critical role in delivering best‑in‑class customer support. You’ll be responsible for both in‑house and onsite installation, start‑up, testing, and troubleshooting of automated machinery and systems. This role includes interpreting electrical and mechanical schematics, working with pneumatics and hydraulics, rigging machinery into place, and ensuring the systems are fully operational for customers around the world.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, start‑up, repair, and maintain automated equipment at customer sites

Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems

Interpret construction drawings and electrical schematics

Perform system testing and validation

Write and submit service reports and documentation

Travel 50–75% (domestic and international), typically Monday–Friday

Qualifications: Must Have:

2-year technical degree (or equivalent experience)

1+ years of relevant experience in machine installation, service, or field support

Strong mechanical aptitude and print reading skills

Willingness to travel extensively

Clean driving record

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Nice to Have:

Familiarity with industrial controls, PLCs (Allen Bradley or Siemens)

Rigging and crane operation experience

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and service documentation

Knowledge of machine building, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and automation
