Executive Protection Specialist

to join our Protective Services team in

St. Paul, MN . In this role, you will support the safety and security of senior executives by delivering discreet, professional, and serviceoriented protective coverage. You will operate in dynamic environments while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and situational awareness, partnering closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless executive protection. Responsibilities

Protective Operations & Executive Support

Help maintain a safe and secure environment for executives, family members, and authorized guests Provide protective coverage during daily activities, travel, and special events Observe, assess, and communicate potential risks or unusual activity Operate with discretion and professionalism in both visible and low-profile protection environments Secure Transportation & Travel Support

Primary provider for principal's secure transportation, including support of defensive and protective driving requirements Conduct route planning and advance preparation for executive movements Support protective coverage during domestic and international travel Advance Work, Events & Site Assessments

Assist with venue assessments, event security surveys, and advance preparation Access Control & Physical Security

Support established access control and physical security procedures at offices, residences, and temporary sites Monitor security equipment and report functionality issues or enhancement opportunities Communication, Coordination & Reporting

Serve as a communication link during protective operations Collaborate with internal security teams, law enforcement, and third-party partners Prepare operational notes, briefings, and post-event summaries as needed Administrative & Program Support

Contribute to operational planning, documentation, and protective program improvements Assist with research, due diligence, threat assessments, and intelligence summaries Participate in ongoing training, drills, and professional development Coordinate with event teams, drivers, and internal/external partners to ensure seamless operations Support contingency planning and emergency response procedures Skills & Competencies

Technical & Operational Skills

Ability to operate protective communications equipment (e.g., radios, GPS-based tools) Basic understanding of protective intelligence, security technologies, and access control systems Capability to produce site assessments, route plans, and operational reports Professional & Behavioral Competencies

Strong situational awareness and decision-making under pressure Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills High level of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality Ability to build trust and effective working relationships with executives and stakeholders Position Details

Location : St. Paul, MN Work Week & Shift : Flexible schedule; may include nights, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts Travel : Domestic and international travel required (up to 50%) Physical Requirements of Position

Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and fitness evaluations Capacity to stand, walk, and operate across varied environments and conditions Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules, assignments, and emerging security concerns Commitment to compliance with all organizational standards and regulatory requirements Minimum Qualifications

5 years of experience in executive protection, physical security, military, law enforcement, or a related field Valid driver's license with a strong record of safe driving Willingness to complete advanced or protective driving training Ability to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays Ability to travel domestically and internationally, sometimes on short notice Strong communication skills with a service-oriented mindset Ability to maintain discretion, confidentiality, and sound judgment under pressure Immigration sponsorship is not available for this role Preferred Qualifications

CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications Eligibility for or possession of certifications such as LEOSA/HR218, CCW, or PPS Familiarity or introductory training in defensive tactics, emergency medical response, evasive or protective driving, and firearms safety and proficiency Experience with access control systems, residential security, or surveillance technology Background in client-facing, hospitality-oriented, or service-focused environments What’s in it for You

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range: The pay range for this position is $85,900.00 - $128,900.00. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws. Benefits & Policies
