Overview The Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista and Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace Hotel Complex is looking for their next Complex Sales Manager. Located in the Disney Springs area, Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista and Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace are ideal for meetings and events. These two properties offer a combined 1,826 guest rooms and over 200,000 sq. ft. of meeting space, providing a versatile option for conferences of all sizes.

Responsibilities

Research, solicit and generate new leads for group opportunities through database research and proactive sales efforts, maximizing new room revenue streams to meet and exceed lead generation goals.

Represent the hotel in the development of market segment(s) and new customer relationships while maintaining existing relations with assigned accounts. Strive to maximize revenue and profitability for all hotel revenue streams.

Develop a business strategy by analyzing historical, current and future hotel and market trends, implementing marketing initiatives to capture the maximum lead revenue to meet and exceed sales goals.

Apply strong sales skills to create customer value, differentiate Hilton from the competition, and bring clear value to customers and the organizations they represent.

Demonstrate mastery of the prospecting process to identify potential customers and implement your call strategy.

Negotiate contracts and commission agreements with end-user customers and intermediaries; engage Hilton Worldwide Sales and Hilton Legal to support contracting as needed.

Coordinate customer specifications (including room, food and beverage and meeting space requirements) via identified lead management system and maintain pertinent account and booking information in Delphi FDC in accordance with defined standards.

Develop and execute plans to engage in outside sales calls, industry tradeshows and customer events; maintain up-to-date pipeline of business opportunities to meet short and long-term objectives for the designated market.

Represent the hotel in all interactions with customers relative to sales, including creating business proposals and executing contracts; conduct site inspections with prospective and existing customers based on their needs.

Develop, execute and communicate a monthly, quarterly and annual business plan for a designated market.

Qualifications

At least two years of big-box hotel group sales experience within the mid- to large-size convention group market, ideally with familiarity in the Midwest Corporate and Association segments.

Proven ability to secure and manage group business of 125+ rooms per night and excel at navigating contracting processes to support quick closes.

Ability to evaluate business opportunities, build and maintain strong client relationships, and advance group deals with confidence.

Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with internal teams throughout the contracting process.

Pay, Schedule & Benefits Pay Range:

This is a salaried role and the position qualifies to be part of the Hilton Sales Incentive plan that is paid quarterly, based on performance.

Shift Pattern:

Typical office hours of 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM with required flexibility to adjust schedules for early mornings or late evenings based on client engagement for the hotel.
