CMBS and Real Estate Capital Markets Associate

Bilzin Sumberg is seeking an associate with 6+ years of experience in drafting and negotiating transaction documents with a focus on finance agreements, modifications, consents and workouts. The ideal candidate will join our CMBS and Real Estate Capital Markets Group, working alongside experienced practitioners on complex commercial real estate finance matters for performing and non-performing loans nationwide, representing CMBS loan servicers, special servicers, and institutional lenders on a variety of business and legal matters. Strong academic credentials, excellent communication skills and admission to the Florida Bar (or eligibility for admission) are required. Preference will be given to candidates with CMBS industry experience, major law firm employment history, and Spanish language skills. Candidates who meet some but not all of the preferred qualifications are encouraged to apply.
