Marian's Attic is a non-profit boutique style thrift shop in King of Prussia supporting the programs and services of Laurel House, a domestic violence organization. We are seeking a part-time Sales Associate to join our team. The culture of the shop reflects that of the larger organization – a supportive, collaborative environment of staff and volunteers who are committed to the mission of Laurel House.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
Strong social media communication and engagement skills
Cash register/balancing cash drawer at close of shift
Sort/tag/steam/stock merchandise
General retail store/thrift store responsibilitiesKnowledge of clothing, shoe and accessory brands
Research value of assorted donated items on the internet
Must be able to lift 40lbs. unassisted
Qualifications:
Prior retail or customer service experience preferred
Positive attitude and strong communication skills
Willingness to learn about clothing and accessory brands
Basic internet and computer skills
Ability to work every other Saturday is required
Must be reliable, punctual, and mission-driven
