Business Development Manager
to join the team. The role focuses on selling and implementing high-value services, identifying and closing new business, and managing client relationships throughout the process. It offers a hybrid work arrangement with remote/home office work, local and regional travel for prospect and client meetings, and on-site work to maximize networking and relationship-building opportunities. A successful candidate will be comfortable engaging with high-level decision makers including C-Suite executives. The position will manage the strategic sales process, including identifying client needs, defining and presenting how PSS can address them, and managing the implementation of new programs. Hunt for new clients with the goal of diversifying offerings and the client base; foster and expand partnerships with key clients. Lead and manage the strategic sales process from prospecting through project implementation. Identify client needs and articulate how Eurofins PSS Insourcing can address them; manage implementations for new programs. Engage with executive-level stakeholders and manage cross-functional collaboration to close complex sales. Develop long-term strategic relationships by understanding client objectives and needs to secure substantial, complex sales. Monitor competitor activity and identify market trends; develop action plans to achieve KPIs and sales goals. Contract development and negotiation, problem solving, and active listening to drive results. Qualifications
Basic Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree 3-5 years of consultative sales experience selling professional services, preferably to or within the life sciences industry Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets Proficient at closing sales; proficient at creating, developing and maintaining client relationships Experience and comfort with prospecting Quick learner Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time locally, within a region Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship Preferred Qualifications: Experience selling in the staffing, recruiting, insourcing and/or laboratory services industry Experience working with a CRM Experience leading and managing projects Book of business within the biopharma industry Additional Information
