Join Our Team as a Communications Specialist at Epiroc! The Communications Specialist supports the execution of the brand and marketing communication strategies by ensuring all activities and materials comply with company policies, brand guidelines, and business objectives. The Communications Specialist develops and delivers high-quality communication content, coordinates communication projects and product launches and updates, and works closely with stakeholders and agencies to ensure consistent, effective, and timely brand communication that strengthens brand positioning and supports business goals. This position combines strategic coordination with hands‑on delivery.

Principal Responsibilities: Marketing Communications and Content Production

Initiate, produce, and publish marketing communication materials that support business goals and product strategies.

Develop content for digital and traditional channels, including (not limited to):

Website

Social Media

Brochures and presentations

Articles and press releases

Event (trade shows, conferences etc) materials

Act as contributor and editor for the website and intranet (SharePoint).

Product Launch and Project Coordination

Plan and coordinate communication activities for assigned product launches, updates or promotional campaigns, including (not limited to):

Communication planning and timelines

Budgeting and coordination of production and suppliers

Follow-up of deliverables and outcomes

Manage smaller communication projects from planning to execution and follow-up.

Work closely with product managers, marketing colleagues, and other stakeholders globally.

Coordinate with external suppliers such as agencies, photographers, and printers.

Campaigns, Events, and Sales Support

Support marketing campaigns, exhibitions, and events by developing and delivering communication materials.

Organize or assist in organizing photo and video productions.

Support customer centers (sales teams) with relevant marketing materials and communication assets.

Collaboration and Brand Management

Collaborate with communications teams in other divisions and functions to ensure consistent messaging.

Secure correct use of brand guidelines in all communication and branding activities.

Support colleagues across the organization in communication-related matters when needed.

Ensure an efficient information flow within the organization, mainly via the intranet, emailing, in-person communication and other activities (ie.events).

Education & Experience

College/University degree or equivalent work experience

3+ years of experience in marketing communication

Strong English writing and storytelling skills: able to tailor technical content for various audiences. More languages is an advantage.

Visual and content creation tools: proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator), Canva, and/or equivalent. Knowledge of video editing or multimedia tools.

Project management: ability to manage multiple deadlines, campaigns, and stakeholders.

Awareness of emerging technologies, including AI tools and agents for content creation, campaign optimization/management, and customer interaction.

Familiarity with Google Analytics, Social Media analytics, and performance tracking.

Industrial experience including understanding of sustainability, safety, and digital transformation topics in the mining and construction industries is a plus.

REQUIRED PHYSICAL EFFORT Duties are generally performed in a professional office environment that involves walking, stairs, extended periods of sitting, frequent use of computer screens, which may result in eye strain or fatigue-& the occasional need to lift up to 25 pounds. Minor distractions from general office noise and other activities may occur.

To promote wellness, ergonomic equipment, and regular breaks are encouraged. If working or visiting the production floor or testing area Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required. PPE includes Hard Hat or Bump Cap, Safety Glasses & Steel Toe Shoes.
