Conversa Corps helps other NGOs, nonprofits, and governmental relief teams work together better, using a completely virtual online interaction. Using group chat and trained Facilitators to help team representatives connect, chat, share, and collaborate, CCorps provides the "real time" interaction between hundreds of teams from all sectors of humanitarian assistance or disaster response. The interaction between the teams grows over time, and with that, relationships and trust begin to build. When a crisis hits, the teams are already familiar with working together in virtual spaces, and can bring response faster.

Multi‑Team Collaboration

Facilitators coach best practices and effective behaviors to help the crowd interact more effectively.

Guided, continuous facilitation of conversation and knowledge sharing in group chat.

Encourage teams to begin planning how they can work together better for the next crisis.

Sustain a high level of shared situation awareness and context by sharing live information and using tools that provide situational awareness alongside chat.

Use tools such as Slack, AirTable, Facebook, WhatsApp, Signal, etc. Focus on behaviors and people, flexible on tools.

Collaboration services provide setup and management of appropriate online, digital tools for conversation and information sharing between responding organizations using various publicly available collaboration technologies like Slack. Conversa Corps also researches and documents the best practices and sociocultural lessons learned associated with large multi‑team collaboration and shares this research publicly.

Job Description Conversa Corps is a Denver-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit transforming multi‑organizational crisis coordination through digital collaboration infrastructure. We operate Aid Arena, a Slack-based platform serving 650+ accounts across 380+ organizations globally, enabling humanitarian, disaster response and aid organizations to coordinate effectively during crises. Our mission is to unite aid providers—from local volunteers to global organizations—in seamless collaboration that maximizes collective impact and brings hope to communities in crisis.

Summary As head of a 12‑person team including sector‑specific ambassadors to the global aid community, the Marketing Officer develops comprehensive marketing strategies targeting specific aid sectors and geographic regions. The role manages the lead pipeline, coordinates ambassador activities, oversees partnership development with major organizations, and works closely with the Communications Officer to leverage creative assets for targeted campaigns.

Introduction Lead revolutionary recruitment strategy as Marketing Officer, orchestrating Aid Arena membership campaigns growing this online aid community from 380 to 500+ organizations while building partnerships with organizations representing specific sectors including food security, animal welfare, and major organizations such as the Red Cross, United Nations OCHA, and voluntary organizations across the US.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Marketing team of 12 in developing and executing targeted recruitment and partnership strategies.

Develop comprehensive marketing plans identifying priority sectors, geographies, and organization types.

Manage Community Ambassador network coordinating sector‑specific outreach activities.

Oversee lead pipeline management and conversion tracking in CRM (Airtable).

Develop strategic partnerships with major organizations (Red Cross, UN OCHA, VOADs).

Coordinate with Communications Officer to request creative assets supporting recruitment campaigns.

Direct sector‑specific campaigns (food security, animal rescue, climate action, etc.).

Monitor marketing performance metrics including lead generation, conversion rates, and Aid Arena growth.

Report to Executive Director on marketing performance, pipeline status, and strategic partnership progress.

Manage marketing budget and allocate resources across campaigns and ambassador activities.

Lead quarterly campaign planning and integrated strategy coordination with the Communications team.

Identify emerging market opportunities and evolving sector needs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.

7+ years progressive marketing experience with 3+ years in leadership roles.

Proven track record developing and executing B2B or membership marketing strategies.

Experience managing teams and coordinating distributed networks (ambassadors/volunteers).Strong background in nonprofit, humanitarian, or mission‑driven organizations.

Preferred

Demonstrated success in partnership development and relationship building.

Experience with CRM systems, lead pipeline management, and conversion tracking.

Portfolio demonstrating strategic marketing leadership and measurable growth results.
