Posting Title: Tracker Account Manager Reports To: Director of Program Governance Location: Remote Salary Range: $68,000 - $156,000 Final determination of a successful candidate's starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, education and experience. The Estimating Team
Estimating is an essential part of CEI\'s sales engine, ensuring that projects are priced properly throughout the bid process. The Estimating group serves a vital role in CEI\'s PM, teaching estimating skills to future and newly hired project management team members.
Responsibilities
Perform all levels and types of estimating, planning, scheduling and costengineering project activities Develop and maintain relationships with tracker and pile material vendors Prepare RFQs and evaluate vendor pricing Understand and communicate product suitability and selection for each project Understanding of geotechnical data and approximate pile sizing implications Coordination with structural engineers of record for design limitations and ideal product selection Support the internal team by leading technical discussions Review and evaluate technical documentation and vendor proposals Understand generation modeling and system optimization using solar design software Deliver technical training to internal teams on various products and updates Travel as needed to project sites and supplier manufacturing facilities
About You
Ability to meet deadlines and partner with team members while working remotely Knowledge of Civil construction related to utility scale solar PV - grading, hydrology, trenching, etc Knowledge of engineering scopes, including electrical, structural, civil, civil experts (hydrology, Geotech, etc.) and permitting
Minimum Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's in Engineering or Construction Management preferred. Experience: Three (3) years of experience working for a solar PV tracker manufacturer, or related deep subject matter expertise in solar PV trackers. Licensure/Certifications: None required. Note: Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. This position is not eligible for sponsorship.
