is seeking a

B2B Sales Account Executive

to join their team based out of the

St. Louis, MO

area.

If you

have at least 1 year of B2B sales experience, a bachelor’s degree in any field, and the ability to travel up to 50% , Darling wants to hear from you!

Sales experience in the restaurant/hospitality industry is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities / Essential duties

Grow sales throughout the territory by engaging with existing customers and building new relationships.

Conduct cold calls, visit client sites, understand needs, and how Darling Ingredients can fill them.

Establish new accounts by planning daily activities to call on potential or existing customers.

Grow profitability by retaining and expanding high-volume and multi-unit accounts to meet company goals.

Understand product values and evaluate profitability of new and existing customers.

Implement sales strategies and negotiate contracts; prepare and execute service agreements.

Regularly use CRM for customer profiling and data entry for brand management.

Conduct site and equipment surveys and facilitate installs during pre- and post-sales processes.

Work with Operations & Logistics teams to provide quality service and efficient handling of material at plant locations.

Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems and developing solutions.

All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of B2B sales experience.

Bachelor’s degree in any field.

Ability to travel up to 50%.

Sales experience in the restaurant/hospitality industry is a plus but not required.

Benefits and Compensation

Competitive compensation : You can expect to earn

$80,000 – $90,000

in your first year, or more based on experience and performance. Established account executives in the territory can earn six figures.
