Assistant Golf Course Superintendent

to join our team at

Anson Point . Reporting directly to the Golf Course Superintendent, this position plays a vital role inmaintainingexceptional playing conditions while fostering a collaborative, innovative, and positive work environment. The ideal candidate willdemonstratestrong leadership, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for golf course management, turf health, and team development. Key Responsibilities

Assistin the daily management and operation of the golf course, including course setup, maintenance scheduling, and execution of agronomic programs Supervise, mentor, and train maintenance staffin accordance withcourse standards and safety protocols Monitor turf conditions and implement maintenance practices to ensureoptimalplayability and presentation Oversee irrigation operations and water management strategies to promote turf health and water efficiency Collaborate with the Golf Course Superintendent, fellow assistants, and equipment technicians to develop and execute annual maintenance plans and budgets Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and industry best practices Participate in brainstorming and planning sessions, contributing innovative ideas to improve course conditions and operational efficiency Foster open communication, encouraging team members to share feedback and suggestions Assistwith ordering, inventory tracking, and proper use of equipment, materials, and supplies Participate in special projects, renovations, and course improvements as directed Promote a positive, team-oriented culture that supports professional growth and development Minimum of

2 years of experience

in golf course maintenance or a related field Associate orBachelor’sdegree in

Turfgrass Management, Agronomy, Horticulture, or related discipline

preferred (equivalent experience will be considered) Strong knowledge of golf course maintenance practices, turfgrass species, and irrigation systems Prior experience supervising and training staff Ability tooperateand maintain golf course maintenance equipment Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
