
Adobe Marketing Architect

Introduction
Serve as the senior Adobe Architect expert advising clients on how to design, govern, and scale enterprise-level data, journey, and content capabilities using Adobe technologies. This role focuses on evaluating current-state operating models, diagnosing capability gaps, designing future-state architectures and governance, and defining multi-year transformation and value realization roadmaps. This is not a hands-on implementer role - it is an executive-facing advisor and team leader who guides clients through large-scale marketing and data transformation.
Your role and responsibilities
Assess client martech ecosystems, data architecture, tagging/measurement capabilities, and Adobe platform usage (AEP, AJO, AEM, Target, Analytics, Marketo).
Lead stakeholder interviews with senior marketing, technology, and data leaders to identify needs, pain points, and strategic ambitions.
Diagnose gaps in data flows, identity resolution, content workflows, journey orchestration, and personalization governance.
Design future-state architectures and operating models that integrate Adobe solutions with broader enterprise systems.
Define use case roadmaps and value realization frameworks tied to business outcomes.
Advise on AI/GenAI opportunities across content automation, metadata/tagging, decisioning, segmentation, and orchestration.
Facilitate alignment workshops and steerco-level sessions to guide multi-functional stakeholders toward shared transformation goals.
Guide clients on governance structures, COE models, talent requirements, process redesign, and adoption strategies.
Partner with Adobe and ecosystem partners to shape joint solutions, offerings, and transformation strategies.
Mentor internal teams and elevate consulting capabilities across Adobe advisory and martech strategy.
Hybrid: Your work location of City, State was assigned based on business need and currently your role designated as a hybrid role. Hybrid roles are expected to perform their primary duties from a combination of IBM location, client sites or work at home. The required number of days to be in the office is to be determined by your management team. Any changes to this work arrangement must be preapproved by your manager before any changes are made. This Job can be performed from anywhere in the US.
Required technical and professional expertise
15+ years of experience in marketing technology consulting, enterprise architecture, or digital transformation advisory.
Broad experience ins various marketing tech platforms with deep expertise across Adobe platforms and modules with a business-first, value-driven lens.
Strong understanding of data strategy, identity management, consent/privacy frameworks, and omnichannel activation workflows.
Proven experience advising C-suite stakeholders and leading multi-year transformation programs.
Ability to translate between marketing, technology, data, and executive audiences with clarity and influence.
Experience developing roadmaps, business cases, and value realization frameworks.
Strong leadership, team development, and executive storytelling capabilities.
