
SMB Channel Marketing Manager

Corestream is seeking a SMB Channel Marketing Manager to own and scale how we engage employees, activate employers, and deliver long-term value across our SMB segment. This role sits at the intersection of strategy and execution — building a cohesive, data-driven communications program that makes a measurable difference in how SMB clients and their employees experience Corestream's voluntary benefits platform.

Location: Corestream is headquartered in Tampa, FL but with a significant population of remote employees based all over the country, being based in Tampa is not a requirement to apply!
Responsibilities:
Employee Participation & Channel Strategy
Own the strategy and execution of employee-facing communications across SMB accounts
Develop and manage an annual communications calendar, including Open Enrollment campaigns
Identify, test, and scale channels beyond email — including SMS, webinars, direct mail, and partner integrations
Continuously improve messaging, timing, and segmentation to drive awareness and benefits participation
Partner with the Data team to evaluate performance and refine strategies over time
Employer Activation
Design and improve a repeatable employer activation model that drives strong launches and early adoption
Manage and evolve the Employer communications materials and resources
Collaborate with SMB partners and work closely with Customer Care to streamline onboarding communications
Identify opportunities to improv the launch experience and implement improvements
Measure activation performance and optimize accordingly
Customer Lifecycle & Retention
Build a year-round lifecycle marketing strategy to support utilization and retention across the SMB base
Design automated communication journeys aligned to key lifecycle stages
Apply segmentation and targeting strategies to improve relevance and engagement
Partner with Customer Care to align outreach across touchpoints
Track utilization trends, engagement performance, and retention impact in partnership with the Data team
Cross-Functional & External Relationship Management
Serve as the central marketing point of contact for SMB stakeholders
Build strong relationships with SMB partner marketing teams and coordinate with vendors and external partners
Align cross-functional teams around shared goals and measurable outcomes
Recipe for Success:
5–10 years of experience in consumer marketing, lifecycle marketing, or a related B2C or B2B2C marketing discipline
Proven ability to build and execute multi-channel communications strategies with measurable results
Strong analytical skills — comfortable working with data to inform decisions, measure performance, and optimize programs
Experience with marketing automation platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar)
Ability to collaborate across teams and influence outcomes Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or equivalent experience

Familiarity with SMB distribution channels or payroll partner ecosystems
Experience building lifecycle or retention marketing programs
