OVERVIEW Alera Group is looking for a Personal Lines Account Manager to join our growing team. We’re seeking motivated, relationship-driven professionals who bring both experience and enthusiasm to their work.
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to step into a client-facing role and continue building their experience in personal lines — or break into the insurance space with a strong customer service background. This role supports a small-to-mid market book of business and is part of a team that is evolving its structure to better support growth, training, and long-term development.

RESPONSIBILITIES Client Management & Service
Manage and service a Personal Lines book of business
Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing coverage questions and resolving issues
Support renewals, policy changes, and ongoing account needs
Build and maintain strong client relationships
Operational Excellence
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
Review contracts and coverage details to identify potential risks and recommend solutions
Manage multiple priorities while meeting service timelines and expectations
Team Collaboration & Growth
Partner with producers and internal teams to support client needs
Identify opportunities for cross-selling and additional lines of business
Participate in training and ongoing professional development
QUALIFICATIONS Required
Strong customer service and relationship management skills
Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail
Sense of urgency and accountability
Preferred (Not Required)
Insurance experience or exposure to personal lines
Active Property & Casualty license (or willingness to obtain)
Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS)
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Compensation
$50,000 – $70,000 annually, with additional earning potential through commission and bonus opportunities
