You’ll partner closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and stakeholders to shape cohesive, intuitive, and scalable user experiences across multiple products and platforms.This role requires deep expertise in design systems: you will be a key or primary owner responsible for evolving, maintaining, and evangelizing our enterprise design system to ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency across teams. You will also apply your strong foundation in UI and UX design to solve complex workflows, balancing usability, accessibility, and visual clarity in a highly technical, multi-stakeholder environment.In addition, you’ll bring hands-on experience and curiosity around AI-powered experiences, helping translate emerging AI capabilities into practical, human-centered solutions that improve workflows for financial professionals, associates, and clients. From early concepting and research through high‐fidelity execution and optimization, your work will meaningfully influence the architecture, usability, and scalability of our product ecosystem.Key Responsibilities and Deliverables* Own, evolve, and champion adoption of the enterprise design system, including components, patterns, documentation, and governance.* Design and deliver high-quality, scalable UI and UX solutions across web and mobile products, ensuring consistency, usability, and accessibility.* Partner with Product and Engineering to define product vision, align roadmaps, and execute cohesive experiences across multiple product streams.* Apply advanced UX design principles to AI-enabled features, automation, and data-driven workflows.* Translate complex technical requirements into clear, intuitive, and user-centered design solutions.* Conduct user research, journey mapping, usability testing, and data-informed iteration.* Prototype and iterate on concepts from early exploration through high-fidelity execution.* Advocate for users and articulate design rationale through clear storytelling and facilitation.* Share best practices, frameworks, and tools to elevate design quality and efficiency at scale.# **What We Are Looking For*** Extensive design system expertise, including enterprise-level creation, maintenance, and scaling.* 5+ years of experience in product, UX, or UI design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating complex, real-world products.* Strong foundation in information architecture, interaction design, and visual design.* Proven ability to work across large, multi-product ecosystems and deeply technical domains.* Demonstrated experience contributing to or leading initiatives from concept through launch and iteration.* Hands-on experience with AI-driven features or workflows, with the ability to translate AI capabilities into usable, ethical, and intuitive experiences.* Advanced proficiency in modern design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma), including component libraries, variants, and token-based workflows.* Experience designing for accessibility, inclusive design, and WCAG-compliant experiences.* Excellent collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.* Passion for raising the quality and impact of design, and a track record of elevating design practices or teams.* Portfolio showcasing design systems, complex UX challenges, and data-informed design decisions.Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and front-end frameworks ( e.g., React) is a plus**Salary Range:** $110,000 - 120,000. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate based on the ideal candidate’s qualifications, the company’s operational needs, and other factors permitted by law. Actual compensation may vary depending on experience, skills, education, performance, internal equity, and geographic location. Applicants should be located near one of our hubs (Fairfield, IA or Phoenix, AZ) and must be willing to work this schedule.
