Role Summary Client is seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Sales/Service Cloud Developer with strong expertise in platform customization, automation, and integration. The ideal candidate will design and deliver scalable Salesforce solutions by leveraging both declarative and programmatic capabilities, ensuring optimal performance, maintainability, and alignment with business goals.
Key Responsibilities 1. Salesforce Development & Customization • Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions using: o Apex (Triggers, Classes, Batch, Queueable, Future Methods) o Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Aura Components o Visualforce Pages (for legacy or specialized use cases) • Implement complex business logic while adhering to Salesforce governor limits and best practices. • Write efficient SOQL/SOSL queries and optimize performance for large data volumes (LDV). 2. Sales Cloud Implementation • Configure and extend Sales Cloud functionalities: o Lead lifecycle management, conversion logic, and assignment rules o Opportunity management including stages, pipelines, and forecasting o Account and Contact data modeling and hierarchy management • Implement automation using: o Flows (Record-triggered, Scheduled, Screen flows) o Validation rules, workflows, and approval processes • Customize forecasting models and sales performance tracking dashboards. 3. Service Cloud Development • Implement and enhance Service Cloud capabilities: o Case Management lifecycle (creation, routing, escalation, closure) o Omni-Channel routing, queues, and assignment rules o Service Console customization for agent productivity • Develop automation for SLAs, entitlements, and milestone tracking. • Integrate knowledge base and self-service portals where applicable. 4. Integration & API Development • Design and implement integrations using: o REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, and Streaming APIs • Integrate Salesforce with external systems (ERP, marketing platforms, data warehouses). • Handle authentication mechanisms such as OAuth 2.0 and Named Credentials. • Develop middleware-based or direct integrations ensuring data consistency and error handling. 5. Configuration vs Customization Strategy • Evaluate and balance declarative vs programmatic solutions: o Prefer out-of-the-box (OOTB) features where feasible o Build custom code only when necessary for scalability or complex logic Metasys Technologies is an equal opportunity employer.
