Compliance Specialist

Driscoll's Compliance Specialist will play a key role coordinating and supporting Driscoll's regulatory and compliance program and operations. This position interfaces with select Driscoll entities to facilitate the duties of this position. Essential duties of this position include: Coordinates the contract management process for DHP. Provides compliance hew hire orientation and targeted training. Assists with compliance education, including assisting with the development of training materials. Monitors hospital compliance and regulatory mailboxes. Maintains knowledge of applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, and accreditation standards. Prepares, drafts and reviews compliance documents. This may include policies, regulatory submissions, memos, forms, and reports. Edits written material for accuracy, format and arrangement of material. Participates in work groups applicable to compliance as needed. Provides support in the preparation, review and submission of regular and ad-hoc reports as needed. Provides compliance review, gap assessment, and audit support as needed. Performs other duties as requested or assigned. Education and/or experience: Associate's degree or higher preferred (JD, legal studies, paralegal, compliance/regulatory, business or project management preferred), paralegal certificate or equivalent work experience in a health care, hospital, managed care or other regulatory setting. Ability to read and comprehend statues, laws, rules, regulations and standards. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Excellent formatting skills. Strong attention to detail. Ability to establish and maintain effective credible communications across departments and personnel. Demonstrates polished interpersonal skills, high energy, and flexibility. Strong computer skills.
