
Purchasing Specialist (on-site in any WCI US location)

Family plans are also available with a portion paid by team members Annual profit-sharing bonus Paid time off and paid holidays 401K with company match and safe harbor contributions Work environment focused on high quality and safety standards What you'll be doing: Executing daily purchasing activities, including creating and issuing purchase orders for supplies, packaging, and parts across multiple parts commodities Monitoring open orders and proactively follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time, in-full delivery Communicating regularly with suppliers to confirm deliveries, resolve issues while maintaining strong working relationships Investigating and resolving discrepancies related to pricing, quantities, or delivery performance Collaborating cross-functionally with operations and supply chain teams to support production needs and material availability Contributing to continuous improvement by following best practices and identifying opportunities to streamline purchasing processes Performing other duties as assigned WCI has grown from $50M in annual sales to more than $375M in the last 10 years. During the same period, we have added 5 new locations bringing the total up to 9, including 1 located internationally. That growth has provided an opportunity to further expand our vision with our customers and increase our capacities. Requirements What we are looking for: High school diploma (required) 4-year degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration/Management or other relevant field (preferred) In lieu of 4-year degree, 2-year degree in a relevant field with equivalent work experience (required) 2+ years Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook (required) 1+ years Supply Chain Experience (preferred) 1+ years MRP experience (preferred) Must be able to sit on-site within any of our US locations
