The firm is seeking an associate with at least two years of experience in commercial lending, finance, corporate and/or real estate transactions to join their dynamic commercial lending transactions group.
Responsibilities
Managing complex commercial lending and real estate transactions
Drafting, negotiating, and reviewing commercial loan documents and general corporate documentation
Reviewing title work, surveys, and other due diligence related to commercial lending, corporate, and real estate matters
Assisting with general corporate and commercial matters
Interacting directly with clients
Candidates should possess a strong academic background and superior drafting and negotiation skills, attention to detail, ability to multi-task and be willing to take on significant responsibility for deal management, client interaction and work product. Candidates must be diligent, proactive, supportive and team-oriented
Qualifications
2+ years of large law firm transactional experience
Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
New Jersey State Bar admission required (within 12 months of hiring)
New York or Pennsylvania a plus
Excellent written and oral communication skills, with careful attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Exceptional client service skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
Compensation:
$170,000.00-$180,000.00, plus bonus.
