The Forward Air network is designed with over 90 facilities located at or near major U.S. and Canadian airports, 12 regional sort centers and over 300 beyond points (secondary airports provided through our Complete Cartage service), creating one of the most comprehensive linehaul networks in the industry. Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, onsite at LAX LTL location Compensation: $30-35 per hour, bi-weekly pay, benefits package Job Description:

The air export agent is responsible for preparing and arranging shipments for exportation via airfreight in compliance with export regulation. Core Responsibilities & Duties: Coordinate all aspects of air exportation including master airwaybill creation, house airwaybill creation, and proper air carrier selection. Closely track and trace all international export cargo, update milestones in CargoWise. Communicate daily with airlines, vendors, truckers, customers, sales representatives, and overseas offices. Follow customer SOPs. Respond to internal and external emails/requests in a timely manner. Ensure compliance is met at all times for internal and external rules & regulations. Other duties as assigned Job Requirements & Qualifications: Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in international export operation Previous knowledge of cargo operations preferred Skills: Ability to work in a fast paced environment. Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Detail oriented and Well organized Positive attitude and willingness to learn Ability to work independently WHAT WE OFFER

Compensation:
