About the Role We are seeking a motivated
Jr. Proposal Writer
to support the development of high-quality proposals in response to government and commercial solicitations. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional who enjoys writing, research, and collaborating with subject matter experts to help win new business.
The Jr. Proposal Writer will work closely with proposal managers, business development teams, and technical staff to develop compelling and compliant proposal content. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with the development, writing, editing, and formatting of proposal responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotes (RFQs), and Requests for Information (RFIs).
Support the proposal team in analyzing solicitation requirements and ensuring proposal compliance.
Research technical, management, and corporate information to support proposal narratives.
Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather content and translate technical information into clear, persuasive writing.
Maintain proposal templates, past performance databases, and proposal libraries.
Assist with proofreading, editing, and quality control to ensure accuracy and consistency across proposal documents.
Coordinate with internal teams to gather required information and meet proposal deadlines.
Support final production and submission of proposals.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in
English, Communications, Journalism, Business, Marketing, Public Administration, or a related field .
0-3 years of experience in technical writing, grant writing, or business development support.
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
Proficiency with
Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) .
