HR Business Partner

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) position is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. The position serves as a consultant to management on human resource-related issues with a specialty in Benefits Management and Administration. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added services to management and employees who reflects the business objectives throughout the organization. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Consults with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate. Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies. Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations. Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with outside legal counsel, as needed/required. Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions). Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention. Provides full cycle HR guidance for transitions; which includes contract review and recommendations based on CAMS business practices. Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation. Develops contract terms for new hires, promotions and transfers. Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning. Identifies training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs. Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follows up to ensure training objectives are met. Administers human resources policies and procedures that covers all of CAMS. Processes paperwork for functional areas according to established procedures. Prepare internal employee communications regarding compensation, benefits, or company policies. Responsible for responding to employee questions and inquiries about employee benefit programs and human resources policies. Administer medical leave requests. Oversee fact-finding process and provide input when necessary to investigations for site grievances and employee disciplinary issues. Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or related discipline. Master's preferred. 5-7 years of experience in HR and Benefits Strong project management skills, must have excellent presentation skills, knowledge of writing HR policies and procedures, strong knowledge of hiring processes. Understanding of HR best practices and current regulations, sound judgment and problem-solving skills, customer-focused attitude, with high level of professionalism and discretion. Has the ability to lead, proficient with MS Office suite, excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with different management levels in the organization, analyze information, financial skills, compensation and wage Structure, benefits administration, organizational astuteness. PHR Certification preferred Applicants must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record, as this position requires occasional travel for company business.
