As our project pipeline grows, we are seeking a detail-oriented Estimator to join our team immediately. Job Description
Review construction drawings, specifications, and addendums to prepare material take-offs and cost estimates. Develop and submit detailed bids for drywall, framing, ceilings, and carpentry scopes. Coordinate pricing from vendors and subcontractors; maintain relationships to ensure competitive rates. Identify risks, scope gaps, and value engineering opportunities. Assist with project handoff to operations teams once bids are awarded. Track bid results and support ongoing estimating strategy improvements. Maintain estimating databases, historical cost records, and project documentation. Required Qualifications: 2-5+ years of estimating experience in commercial construction (drywall or interiors experience strongly preferred). Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents. Strong attention to detail, math skills, and organizational abilities. Experience with estimating software (e.g., On-Screen Takeoff, PlanSwift) is a plus. Strong communication skills and ability to handle multiple bids simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications: Background with commercial interiors, drywall, metal framing, or carpentry trades. Familiarity with local subcontractor and supplier markets. Ability to collaborate effectively with project managers, field teams, and leadership. What's on Offer
