R-17339**Your Role**Gensler is seeking a creative, motivated, and highly collaborative individual to join our team as a Communications Coordinator in the DC office. This individual will support the team in promoting our projects, people, and expertise through a variety of channels: press outreach, speaking engagements, awards, social media, internal communications, and special projects. The ideal candidate has a passion for design, strong writing skills, and a team-player attitude. They will work to support a range of activities designed to amplify Gensler’s brand, reputation, and thought leadership.**What You Will Do*** Public Relations:

+ Assist in developing public relations and communications collateral including press releases, talking points, media lists, etc.

+ Support the regional communications lead in tracking and reporting external impact though media and industry partners

+ Vet and manage inbound media requests

+ Support the regional communications lead in developing targeted PR plans for projects and practice areas* Content Creation:

+ Work with office leadership on development of blog posts and bylines

+ Support office leadership on internal communications including copy and graphic design support for presentations and internal announcements

+ Develop case studies for key projects

+ Support office events for media, clients, and partners

+ Assist with photo shoots

+ Social media support including content development and community management

+ Prepare and submit awards content on behalf of our projects and people

+ Ability to proactively support multiple submission deadlines at once* Speaking Engagements

+ Support team on speaker submissions, presentation content development, talking points, and event coordination as needed

+ Maintain annual conference calendar and track related deadlines for the team**Your Qualifications*** 2+ years of PR agency experience, preferably in the commercial real estate industry* Strong writing, editing, grammar and interpersonal skills* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and basic graphic design skills (Adobe Express) required. More significant graphic design skills (InDesign) are a plus* Photo and video filming and editing (iPhone and/or camera) skills a plus* Self-motivator with strong organizational skills to coordinate and pro-actively manage multiple projects and deadlines* Ability to work with diverse teams in a fast-paced environment, and problem-solve where necessary* Professional demeanor and a friendly, flexible, proactive team player*\*\*The estimated base salary range for this position is $**$65,000-$74,000* *plus eligibility for bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package, with final compensation contingent on relevant experience.
