Overview

Our client, in the Roofing Supply industry, is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to join their team. In this role you will be managing commercial accounts. We are looking for candidates who have experience working in the Building Materials industry or who are interested in working in this space. The territory covers New Orleans and surrounding locations. You will work out of your home office and will be out in the field most of the day. This is an established territory; there is no cold calling expected. The company offers benefits including a company vehicle and a base salary with commission, along with other perks and excellent company benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Manage commercial accounts within the assigned territory (New Orleans and surrounding locations).
  • Work from a home office and spend most of the day in the field; visit scheduled customers regularly.
  • Travel as weather permits; maintain strong relationships with a solid base of customers.
  • Participate in entertaining customers as needed (lunch, dinner, events).
  • Maintain a positive work/personal life balance; this role is not a cold-calling position.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Building Materials or a strong interest in the space.
  • Ability to work from a home office and travel within the territory.
  • No product knowledge required due to established training program.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Company vehicle (Ford F-150) with fuel, maintenance, and insurance covered; personal use allowed.
  • Base salary with commissions; bonus potential; cell phone allowance; laptop; and excellent company benefits.
  • Work from home to field; no office required; Monday–Friday schedule.
