Employer Industry: Information Technology Why consider this job opportunity: Salary up to $189,600 Opportunity for career advancement and growth within the organization Flexible time off benefits to support work-life balance Comprehensive benefits including healthcare, wellness, financial, and retirement support Work in a collaborative and innovative environment focused on national security Chance to contribute to meaningful projects that enhance safety and security What to Expect (Job Responsibilities): Serve as a member of an Agile Scrum team providing UI/UX design and development for software delivery Collaborate closely with business analysts, software developers, stakeholders, and end users within Agile processes Conceptualize and design custom software application capabilities for various systems Develop wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design ideas to stakeholders Mentor junior team members and ensure product quality and timeliness of work What is Required (Qualifications): Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to pass a CBP background investigation Degree in a related field such as Interactive Design, Graphic Design, or Human Factors Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a visual or interaction design role Proficient in enterprise UI design tools such as Figma, Axure, or similar Strong ability to communicate designs effectively with stakeholders and understand technical feasibility How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications): Knowledge of modern front-end systems and open-source frameworks like Angular Experience defining design systems and standards for enterprise use Familiarity with design tools such as Sketch, Invision, or XD Proven experience designing for web accessibility (Section 508 standards) Design Thinking certifications from recognized institutions We prioritize candidate privacy and champion equal-opportunity employment.
