As an Account Executive - Real Estate, you’ll play a key role in helping real estate professionals protect their businesses and reduce risks. You’ll work in a collaborative environment where your ideas and drive can make a real impact.
The First Year Comp Projection for this role is $60 - $70k TTC with ample ability for growth in the future establishing a Book of Business.
How you'll make an impact
In this role, you’ll connect with real estate professionals to understand their unique needs and provide tailored insurance solutions. You’ll build strong relationships, act as a trusted advisor, and help clients navigate complex risk management challenges. Your day-to-day will include reaching out to new clients, managing accounts, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver seamless service. You’ll also stay ahead of industry trends to ensure clients get the best coverage options.
Here’s what you’ll do:
Build and maintain relationships with clients, offering expert advice on insurance and risk management
Develop new business opportunities through proactive outreach and marketing
Collaborate with colleagues to create proposals and deliver innovative solutions
Stay informed about market trends and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance
Customer Service:
First point of contact for additional new business applications/policies within the CRES program
Servicing of new business E&O applications that are associated with the CRES program
Answer coverage questions and be point of contact for their prospects and clients
Sales:
Be an Account Executive for the CRES Real Estate program
Target of $300,000 in new business sales (first year)
Target of $60,000 revenue bound (first year)
Increase premium and revenue targets each year by 15%
Target of 60 prospecting calls per day
Calls would be logged in CRM System (Macaw) with comprehensive notes added in the system
Forward‑thinking vision to pursue potential group/sponsored business opportunities and program enhancement
Bound Percentage target of 30%
Target of 15 policies bound per month (first year)
Ability to receive and handle high‑level or escalated consultations
Develop extensive knowledge of ancillary insurance products and find opportunities to cross‑sell these products to our E&O insureds
Prospecting larger sponsored businesses/brokers/associations/other business opportunities
Program Management:
Collaborate with leadership and Account Specialist team to identify high‑value renewal clients
Assist Account Specialist team with client renewal process when needed
Retention Goal of 88-92%
Attend industry conferences and work with leadership and Marketing on ad placement, giveaways, lead generation, and overall brand awareness
Identify areas of opportunity to shine as thought leader in the real estate space (presentations, webinars, articles, partnerships)
Marketing:
Help with sourcing of unique article content by sharing client feedback and real estate market trends
Assist Marketing with surveys relative to products/service benefits
Review “Health Checkup” campaigns to strengthen customer engagement
About You
You’re a proactive, client‑focused professional with a passion for delivering results. You thrive in a fast‑paced environment and enjoy building relationships. You’re organized, analytical, and ready to take on challenges. Here’s what you bring:
At least 3 years of experience in insurance brokerage, risk management, or a related field.
A bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or a related discipline.
Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts.
A valid P&C insurance license or willingness to obtain one within 90 - 120 days of employment.

Compensation and benefits
We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
