Manager, Marketing and Communications

* Assist with media pitches and coordination of outreach opportunities.* Collaborate with University Marketing and Communications on story prioritization and strategic media engagement.* May supervise support staff including full-time employees, student workers or 3rd party liaisons.* Perform other duties as assigned.* Bachelor's degree in communications or equivalent combination of education and experience.* Five years of related experience.* Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications.* Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.* Excellent verbal and written communication skills and presentation skills.* Bachelor’s degree in marketing, project management or related field.* Experience utilizing project management software preferred.* Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across functional areas.- Strong organizational and project management skills.
