Admissions Director Responsibilities:
Oversee the entire admissions process for prospective residents.
Conduct tours of the facility for potential residents and their families.
Evaluate and process admission applications to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
Coordinate with healthcare professionals, hospital discharge planners, and insurance companies to facilitate smooth admissions.
Maintain accurate records of admissions, discharges, and transfers.
Provide ongoing support and information to residents and their families throughout the admission process.
Develop and maintain relationships with referral sources to ensure a steady flow of admissions.
Prepare and present reports on admissions activities and outcomes to senior management.
Admissions Director Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, social work, or a related field.
Experience in admissions or a similar role within a healthcare setting.
Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to admissions in a nursing home setting.
