Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated REMOTE Tax Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing tax compliance and planning for our clients, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all tax-related matters. Key Responsibilities Manage and oversee the preparation and filing of federal and state tax returns for individuals, S-Corps, and partnerships Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and laws while advising clients on tax strategies Conduct detailed reviews of tax returns and provide recommendations for improvements Collaborate with clients to gather necessary financial information and documentation Stay updated on tax legislation and industry trends to provide informed advice Mentor and train junior staff on tax-related matters and best practices Assist in resolving tax-related issues and audits as needed
Qualifications Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required Minimum of 4 years of experience in tax preparation and compliance Strong knowledge of S-Corp and partnership tax regulations Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
